365 drawings
From 5th August 2023 until 4th August 2024, Cally Trench, an English artist living in Buckinghamshire, England, and Tineke Bruijnzeels, a Dutch artist living in the Netherlands, will each be making a drawing a day. These drawings will be posted on this website in batches of seven every Saturday.
Cally's theme for the whole year is her own hands, which she will draw life-size from life, using both hands. Her aim is to create a sequence of drawings that describe a series of movements.
Tineke's theme for the whole year is 'One more line a day': one line on day 1, two on day 2, three hundred and sixty-five on day 365. 66,795 lines in all.
